Les Corvées is an assemblage of Poulsard and Pinot Noir from the Jura. It’s quite playful, superbly fresh with a nose slightly reminiscent of the carbonic macération typically found in some Beaujolais. This is not showing the funky side of Poulsard. Instead, this is super pretty and fills the mouth with red fruits, wild strawberries and some brown spice. It is cheeky but has a degree of seriousness, wrapped in a core of smooth tannins and soft structure which gives length. If you enjoy savouriness in lighter reds, this is an easy drinking style and I always like a decant first.

Her tasting philosophy centres on structure, balance and context — always asking not just how a wine tastes, but why it matters.
