An electric, fuchsia rimmed hue in the glass. Redcurrants, pomegranate juice and blackberries. A swirl of boysenberry compote and kalamata olives. Crushed coffee bean, dill and a subtle winter pine. Elements of blood orange and beetroot. Crunchy acidity followed by fine powdery tannins. This Malbec sits comfortably in its juicy style with suitable structural integrity. It is quite a pure example and drinks very well on its own. If you are dining, go for lean kangaroo strips or venison, as the brightness of the wine won’t get lost.
