Eight at the Gate Pinot Gris 2023

Share

From Wrattonbully fruit, a single vineyard, there was a quick pressing to avoid picking up too much colour, though there is the merest hint of a pink blush, before tank fermentation to dryness. The nose offers an attractive mix of pears and tropical notes with melons and mangoes. A minerally backing with a lovely supple texture and impressive length. This has way more flavour than your average Pinot Gris, is cracking value, and will drink well over the next couple of years.
