Kooyong Estate Clonale Chardonnay 2024

Share

Takes a dip into the very heart and soul of Mornington Peninsula Chardonnay at an approachable price. Summery stone fruits and citrus aplenty, enhanced texturally with time in oak and trimmed in bright acidity, Clonale ticks all the boxes. A blend of Chardonnay from Kooyong’s Tuerong and Balnarring vineyards, fermented in French oak (12% new) and bottled without fining, it is immediately appealing with its touch of lime peel, Meyer lemon and spice set among a riot of white peach and nectarine. Super clean and crisp as snow, it’s easy to see why Chardonnay is having yet another moment with drinkers.
