El Desperado Pinot Grigio 2023

Pinot Grigio can be a little so-so, but this one has some character. On the nose the apple crumble and cut pear characters are dominant. But on the palate a textural influence has been created with a small contribution from full solids, wild fermentation and a smidgeon of oak. It all adds up to a wine that is ideal as an aperitif but could handle plenty of light seafood dishes.
