This comes off estate-grown fruit from the Greenock Vineyard the Ashmeads bought some years ago. I really like the style. It’s seamless, medium-bodied, and so vibrant and energetic. Aromas of bright red fruits with a typical spicy Grenache influence. And then the palate delivers with its juicy red fruits and slightly light confectionery characters that are balanced with a spicy and faint earthiness. A thoroughly beautiful current-drinking style with some short-term cellaring potential.
