Purple Hands Barossa Valley Grenache 2023

Share

An abundantly youthful wine that’s enjoyable from the first sniff, it’s a great example of how Grenache from the Barossa can hold its own against Shiraz. It bursts forth with fruit – red cherry, raspberry and strawberry – with some violets, spice and black pepper for good measure. The palate highlights the fruity tones over the savoury, with silky slipperiness and a great balance between the body, tannin and acid. It has the structure to age for at least another five years but it’s so enjoyable right now.
