Fishbone Ruby Rosé 2023

A Rosé that ticks all the boxes for immediate drinking pleasure. Bright salmon pink hues. Florals to the fore – there is a small splash of Gewürztraminer here with Shiraz and it shows – with apple blossom, peonies and rose aromas in partnership with cranberry and strawberry. Flavours are summery, red fruited in raspberry and wild strawberry and lifted in spice with good concentration. Fermentation and maturation in seasoned oak for a short time has tied everything nicely together indeed. There’s a nice textural flow and, yes, it’s dry.
