This is a well-made Sauvignon Blanc, full of lime skins, lemongrass and meadow flowers. The beauty of Flowstone’s Sauvignon Blancs is that, though the winemaking enhances the wine, it never outshines the quality of the fruit. This release is slightly broader through the palate than previous vintages, and I’d suggest serving it with food. Maybe a girls’ dinner of goat’s cheese, perfectly cooked asparagus and a quail egg.
