Glen Eldon Twisted Trunk Shiraz 2021

Share

Sourced from some of the oldest vines in the Barossa, planted in 1865. A gentle winemaking approach, including basket pressing and hand plunging, has contributed to the wine’s soft, supple, and silky-smooth texture. Tremendous depth of fruit on the palate with dark plums, licorice and subtle coffee grinds evident. A mix of new and older oak has played a strong supporting hand while the slightly chalky tannins are finely integrated to create a wine of great poise. Classic example of Barossa Shiraz in a very good year.
