Gralyn Estate Reserve Cabernet Sauvignon 2017

Share

A contrast in style to the 2013 reserve cabernet with a return to the lush, generous styles we generally associate with the grape and the region. Dark, dense in colour, it makes a resounding first impression with layers of structured elegance. It’s all laid out before the drinker: blackcurrant, Damson plum, nutmeg, cedar and a touch of tomato leafiness. Fruit is well-defined and fresh with a touch of pepper. In keeping with Gralyn style, structure is once again a feature with finely grained tannins standing guard.
A layered, complex cabernet.
