Grant Burge Filsel Shiraz 2024

The fruit is sourced from around the Barossa and in this case has produced, in what was a very good year, a beautiful example of this classic barossa Shiraz. It’s a vibrant, high-energy wine with plush red and black fruits, a mix of plums and blackberry, a trace of spice, and a slightly talcy limestone character that adds complementary balance. It’s generous, but there’s an effortlessness about it as it extends with great drive to a long finish. Wonderful drinking now, but no problems for a long time in the cellar.
