There is a beautifully rich fruit sweetness with powerful blackcurrant and chocolatey fruit aromas supported by high quality vanillin oak. it’s bigger and bolder cabernet than you can find almost anywhere else in the country, and made more for upfront, youthful appeal rather than being a long aging style. Despite that power there is also a freshness and vibrancy to the mouth-filling fruit supported by supple tannins and running through to a long and open-knit finish. It’s a wine that will drink well for some time to come but probably also quite close to its peak right now. Drink up with roast beef with a rich red wine reduction.
