Gumpara Hexen Barossa Shiraz 2018

Share

Power, intensity, and drive, this wine has it all. Named after the “Hexen” (Witches) from the Silesian migration to the Barossa, known for their medicinal potions. Made by a seventh-generation family in Light Pass. A deep, vibrant colour with translucent purplish-red tones. Partially barrel fermented in French oak, matured 18 months in new American oak, then 6 months in two-year-old American oak, followed by extended bottle ageing. The palate is deep and explosive, with dark fruits, cocoa, and mocha. A powerhouse wine with traditional Barossa style and surprising refinement.
