From old vines in central Pokolbin, the grapes receive a gentle pressing with a limited amount of juice put to fermentation before maturation in tank for a couple of months. This is a cracking example of a top-notch Hunter Sem. The palest straw hue, this is fresh and floral-scented with grapefruit pith, spices, dry hay and citrus notes, and a minerally backing. Lightweight, but with focus, direction and bright acidity, it is long and lingering and will provide pleasure for the next ten to twelve years.
