Picardy Chardonnay 2023

Share

Meyer lemon zest, white Gardenia and mock orange blooms. Crushed Lilly Pilly, white nectarine cheeks and yellow plum. There is a exotic upper class fragrance which tends to appear in the very best Western Australia clones. Something just out of reach that allures you in. It’s the nape of a baby’s neck, marble and quartz rock. Fine and delicate citrus fruits lovingly prepared. A dust of nutmeg and vanilla sugar, suggestive of the very best oak. Acidity is high toned here with a greek yoghurt creaminess and grated candlenut on the finish. A touch of lime juice and oyster brine too. Drink now and will cellar 3-5 years onwards. Drink with a creamy and cheesy linguine.
