This is such an appealing wine. Opens with highly scented aromas of plum and cherry with a trace of spices and licorice. The palate is more medium bodied but super intense. Comes off a single vineyard in Karridale and, although this is a cooler site, the wine displays a firmness and poise. Gravelly grainy palate feel with a savoury edge. Like this one.
