Hare’s Chase Marananga Shiraz 2019

This is a quite a modern expression of the Barossa Valley from this excellent subregion. It’s bright and brilliant with cherry and plummy notes. There’s a nice hit of American oak to complement the fruit with fine almost silky tannins sustaining and supporting a long finish. Quite high in alcohol but it handles it rather well.
