South By South West Pemberton Pinot Noir 2023

Share

Juicy, super slurpy and delicious. Building blocks were laid with Dijon clones 114 and 115 which deliver lovely aromatics and structure, and then everything just seems to fall nicely into place. Red cherry, plum, raspberry, a splash of cranberry and spice – offers lively upfront fruit and nothing but the fruit. Maturation in three-year-old seasoned oak has done its job nicely. Acidity is bright contributing to a delicious juiciness. Tannins are well-behaved allowing the fruit its moment. An underlying autumnal earthiness brings an added layer, but the star right now is that red berry brightness.
