Harvey River Shiraz 2022

Fruit leads towards the jammy and ripe spectrum, but it lifts up off the runway just in time with pretty florals and a mineral-laden jubilance. The palate is easy-drinking and mid-bodied with a refreshing crunch factor. Red berries, morello cherry juice, Ribena and aniseed, all cloaked in sweet spiced and vanilla-laced toasted oak before some nice chocolatey notes on the finish. Paired with bundled spice, juby fruit and some nice brambly notes, this is a slurpable and well-placed Shiraz. Yummo.
