Similar winemaking here as with the other reds in the portfolio, but this is the flagship, sourced from their top Barossa Valley Shiraz vineyard. A near opaque crimson colour, the nose offers an array of fragrances and perfumes – black cherries, leather, licorice, chocolate, spices and coffee beans. Seamless with bright acidity, there is real energy here. The palate sees the emergence of cassis and blackcurrant notes supported by fine tannins and an impressively long finish. Enjoy over the next ten to twelve years.
