Punch Lance’s Vineyard Pinot Noir 2023

Share

Boasts a lingering, beautiful scent both delicate and so pretty in lifted violet, rose, pressed flowers, dried herbs, raspberry, red plum and cherry.  It is amplified, if anything, on the palate which is delivered in sinewy tannins and enhanced with layers of spice and just a touch of earthy undergrowth. The addition of a small percentage of whole bunches (10%) and new French oak (15%) during winemaking pays off here. Finishes firm, fine-edged, red fruited and nicely understated in spices and herbs. Has so much to offer both now and over the next decade.
