Heirloom Vineyards King’s Garden Barossa Valley Shiraz 2022

Share

Hand-picked from premium Barossa Valley vineyards, the wine spends 18 months maturation in American and French oak barrels. This is potent with blackcurrant soothers, Ribena cordial and strikingly of the cassis nature. Strong aromas of rich oak insist on mahogany, cedar and cola notes that befit the nature of the ripe and ready fruit. Some savoury bitter tannins actually counter the bold fruit, drawing down upon the compote characters and adding another detail to the whole package. Some rosemary and black tea to finish. A very powerful wine that could handle some big meaty dishes or a tomahawk steak. Drink now or cellar for another 4- 5years to see more of the earthy side of this wine.
