Henschke George 5th Grenache 2021

A beautiful crystal clear garnet colour is a taste of what’s to come. Boyant, bright and enticing aromas of red liquorice, fruit pastilles, rose petals, tobacco and spice burst from the glass and provide a strong start. It’s then mouthfilling and fleshy with flavours reminiscent of a bowl of mixed red berries with beautiful purity. It’s quite soft with just enough sandy tannins to bring the whole package together beautifully. Impossible to stop after just one glass.
