Pineapple, lemon, gooseberry and passionfruit straight off with a pure, clean and fresh feel. Nothing overt. Pops of slightly sweet florals thereafter and some riverstone mineral notes. The palate has a welcome tautness to the fruit – lemon, lemon rind, pineapple, and passionfruit sit within ample texture to a clean and refreshing close. Certainly not a complex wine, nor should it be, but it does offer fresh fruitiness and cleansing acidity. Nice at the price.
