Hugh Hamilton Aroma Pagoda 2021

Share

Aroma Pagoda, can we just stop for a moment and marvel at this name. Whether you love it or hate it you just want to say it. The wine after a little aeration, settles into sensational aromatics. Cut green apple, green mango skin and freshly picked Gardenia flowers; the higher proportion of Riesling taking the reins as it should. The Gewürztraminer is exemplified in lifted freshness but not in the highly perfumed way that can sometimes get cloying. The little bit of sweetness is captured in a more citrus sherbet tang that highlights the purity of Adelaide Hills fruit. A zesty white blend that would work perfectly with lemon sole and capers.
