Always a standout on the Bellarine Peninsula and at Jack Rabbit, chardonnay from this part of the world is strong in flavour intensity and notable in structure. It’s a win-win situation combining not only early drinking pleasure but the opportunity for aging further.
The 2018 vintage sings. White peach, stone fruits, citrus peel, touch of background smoky oak. Creamy texture and buttery richness (that is, for a cool climate – it’s a relative thing) with a vanillin and nutty complexity. Top drinking.
