Jansz Vintage Cuvée 2015

Share

The key to great vintage Champagne is time on its lees. Years sitting in bottle gaining those fine French pastry aromas that only come with time. This vintage of Jansz Vintage Cuvée shows why all that effort is worth it, delivering delicacy and finesse.

It has a pale golden colour and the finest, creamy bubbles with focussed aromas of fresh French pastry which are supported by floral, peach skin fruit. Tasmanian acidity is on full show driving a powerful and compact palate that is long with nougat complexity to finish. Despite five years of age it is still youthful and will develop over the next five years or more. The wine also has plenty of food matching potential, particularly for a ripe Brie or Camembert.
