Jardin d’Arômes Rosé Pays d’Oc 2022

If only life was always easy like a Sunday morning, a bowl of strawberries and cream, and this prettily bottled wine… A classic South-of-France blend of Grenache, Cinsault, Syrah and Mourvèdre, this is an ubiquitously pale salmon-pink, with a fragrance of peach, apricot and white nectarine with orange blossom and rose petal florals, plus a mineral wet pebble note. The palate is sumptuous and creamy with a hint of savoury lemon peel acidity and those lovely fruit flavours lingering. Great as a standalone aperitif or matched with a canapé of cured salmon and mascarpone. Another great value wine from Languedoc’s Jean-Claude Mas.
