As with all this range, the wine is under cork. The colour is a deep magenta, while the nose exhibits notes of coffee grinds, aniseed, blueberries, leather, smoked meats, deftly handled oak and cassis, with a hint of sour cherry evident on the finish. A bold style with focus, power, concentration, good intensity throughout and vibrant acidity. Very fine tannins and real length tie the package together. Love it. Enjoy over the next twelve to twenty years.
