Shows the impact of the cooler vintage, with a medium body, aromas of dried herbs and a slightly angular palate, though still has good fleshy fruit flavours. It’s been sourced largely from the 1973 planting of these unirrigated vines, which really works in its favour in a cool season. Has been impeccably handled in the winery with a minimal use of new oak, but just enough to spice things up. Will continue to open up as it ages.
