Kalleske Cyme Barossa Centenarian Vine Grenache 2023

Just 100 cases of this really exciting Barossa Grenache made. There was 20% whole bunch fermentation and 48 days extended maceration after which the wine spent a year in new French oak. The vines, which were planted in 1912, are from the south of the region. Unfiltered and unfined it offers soft and spicy red fruit notes, raspberries and a delightful strawberries and cream note. Supple and seductive this is persistent and well balanced with impressive length. Enjoy this well into the 2030s.
