Kilikanoon Killerman’s Run Grenache Shiraz Mataro 2022

Share

A killer wine at a killer price that is immediately approachable and ready to hit the glass. Grenache takes the lead role pumping out plenty of black cherry and spice with just a touch of confection, ably supported by aromatic violet, aniseed and Mataro herbals – earthy fennel and oregano – with cacao. Smooth and easy with generous fruit all the way through to the finish. With fruit like this, it’s clear that oak doesn’t need to be too obvious and it isn’t. Some astute winemaking on show.
