Kirrihill Partner Series Shiraz 2019

Some serious time in barrel – twenty months. Senior winemaker Andrew Locke uses a light touch though with vibrancy in all departments. Savoury and slightly rustic but with a firm tannic grip. Black plum and tapenade notes and that cedar and extra complexity from the oak is well integrated. Thinking spring lamb is required with rosemary and roasted garlic.
