Sits firmly in the Mornington Peninsula Chardonnay zone. Taut and linear – as befits a cool year in what is already a cool, maritime climate – with plenty of focus on citrus and stone fruits. White peach, nectarine, lemon enhanced by creamy lees-induced nutty nougat. Excellent depth of flavour, layered between fruit and oak and guided by superfine acidity that really drives the Chardonnay engine, moving firmly and fast across the palate. Moves as one, beautifully.
