Lifted notes of plum and red cherry lead the charge with a salted meat nuance in support. Some pepper spice builds with air complimenting some emergent dried herb complexity in the form of rosemary and oregano. There’s a nice terracotta edge to the aromas, too. Lovely intensity to the palate, which bursts with plum and cherry notes as per the nose, with the dried herbs sitting beneath. The structure is supple, with the meaty notes binding to a sheath of grainy tannins and blackfruited acidity cleansing the finish. A varietal and nicely woven Tempranillo.
