Lenton Brae Cabernet Sauvignon 2024

Share

Opens with a powerful mix of blackcurrant and black olive aromas, displaying classic varietal Cabernet character. While predominantly Cabernet Sauvignon, there is a small amount of Malbec in the blend, which I think is particularly important in a warmer year. It has good mid-palate weight and texture, while a firm core of chalky tannins and oak provides the structure and poise necessary to carry the wine through to the finish. The fruit possesses an appealing suppleness, yet the wine remains unmistakably classical Cabernet in style.
