Distinctly different from the Clare and Eden Valley wines. Has a more perfumed character with a soft acid that sits neatly into the wine. From the Tamar vineyard planted in 2004, it’s a single block with two clones, hand-picked and treated differently. One clone is whole bunch pressed. The acid is more muted, and the fruit quite ripe. Has 6g/l sugar to balance the acidity, with some time on yeast lees. Shows a wet stone character.
