Running with Bulls Garnacha 2019

Love the concept for this wine – getting to the heart of what makes these Mediterranean grape varieties tick. And this particular vintage really does carry a strong Spanish edge. It’s unoaked and not designed to be a serious grenache that is going to drink well for years; more a wine with fantastic upfront drinkability bursting with grenache’s generosity of flavour for early drinking.

Light cherry colour and so engaging from the get go with its bright red cherry, tobacco and spicy fruits. The fruit is sweet and welcoming, in a good way. It is then dry and mid-weight with its more subtle earthy side coming out on a lingering and spicy finish with soft tannins. A great picnic red.
