Liv Zak Yarra Valley Chardonnay 2022

Share

A different personality to its premium release ’22 Chardonnay sibling. Expect a more open and sunny personality, and a wine immediately more approachable in its youth which, it must be said, is in keeping with consumer expectations of a sub-$40 Chardonnay. Fresh white peach and pear fruits, baked quince, some flinty minerally elements and handsome toasty oak aromas. A taut wine carrying impressive drive across the middle palate, its cool climate credentials on show, in league with crushed gravel notes, quince paste, grapefruit pith and spice. A solid reflection of site, vintage and varietal.
