MadFish Wines Cabernet Sauvignon Merlot 2018

The classic red blend for Western Australia, the fruit is sourced from Margaret River and the Great Southern. It is a blend of 65% Cabernet Sauvignon and 35% Merlot. The colour is a deep soft red and the lifted aromas weave through dark chocolate, plums, lead pencils, coffee grinds, dark berries, leather and boysenberries. A note of mint emerges near the finish. There is good acidity and reasonable length. A wine with staying power, it will perform well over the next 3 to 5 years.
