Whispers of camphor sit above dark cherry, blood plum, dried herbs and brown spice, with subtly sweet oak notes in the background. The palate is packed with blood plum and dark cherry with a juicy feel, and some dried rosemary and bay leaf in support. The tannins are varietal in their firmness, adding a vertical frame to medium length. Straightforward rather than complex, but enjoyable nonetheless.
