McIvor Estate Heathcote Vermentino 2023

Vermentino is a grape believed to have originated in Piemonte, and it’s now becoming a lot more popular in Australia. Aromas leap from the glass, revealing a very pretty wine, with characters of white flowers, peach, citrus and grass, plus a touch of chalk. There’s a heap of minerality, seen with a chalky sensation in the mouth, and despite two years in bottle, it’s still looking very young and fresh.
