Mottura Negroamaro Salento IGT 2022

Negroamaro continues to attract (favourable) attention in Australia and examples hailing from its home can only assist, especially when they are as delicious as this. Deep magenta in colour, we have warm earth and roast meat notes, chocolate, tobacco leaves, dried herbs, bay leaves and dark berries. The wine offers ripe flavours with good focus, a tight structure, reasonably firm tannins and impressive length. Lots to love here. A wine which will provide considerable pleasure over the next six to eight years.
