The cooler high altitudes of Adelaide Hills suit the Gris style, allowing it to still present its more generous expression of the variety, but while keeping it in a more linear and controlled, finer structure. This one works really well, and that combination of apple crumble and pear is evident immediately on the nose. The palate is fine and flavoursome, retaining a crisp vibrancy through to the finish. Excellent current drinking wine.
