Mr Riggs Piebald Syrah 2023

Share

Grown in Ben Riggs’s Piebald Gully vineyard in the northeast of McLaren Vale’s Willunga foothills country, which enjoys a cooler ripening season than most of the region and suits this Syrah badging. The nose has a minerally vibe entwined through its darker purple, plum and blackberry fruit notes, then turns left not right in terms of oak and body shape, finessed, spicy, fashionable, with some lovely florals yet not shrinking its power to weight responsibilities. Smart styling all over.
