Munda Djab Wurrung Country Syrah 2023

I love that countryside-like character in Grampians Syrah. That olive tapenade, that smoked meat, polished leather, small, dark wild berries, dried thyme and bay leaf. That perception of gum tree leaf and red dirt, like you were standing there. While the nose is a promise, the palate has a mind on its own. I love the filigree of the tannins and the coolness of this wine, with a graphite-like line. Some well-polished fruit here and there. It’s the first release, and it’s already got promise.
