Organic Hill Founders Release McLaren Vale Grenache 2023

A finely crafted McLaren Vale Grenache, grown and made according to biodynamic principles. Deep magenta purple in colour, this is a slightly earthy style with notes of animal skins, dried herbs, leather, cloves, mushrooms, more black fruits than red, and the merest hint of chocolate on the nose. A wine of medium length, plenty of concentration and good balance, it exhibits a pleasing freshness, finishing with fine powdery tannins. It should drink well over the next three to six years.
