Otro Vino Margaret River Tempranillo 2025

Share

A wine built for the table, for food, for sharing with friends, such is the easy going nature of this accessible fruit-filled Tempranillo. Aromas are warm and inviting in briar, red liquorice, dark cherries, plum, spice. But it is the earthiness, a deep resounding scent, that impresses together with the spice notes. Not a flamboyant Tempranillo, quite subtle – a little Spanish inspired perhaps – with its joven-style fruitiness and rustic tannins. Spice roams the palate with black fruits, cherries, herbs, briar, earth and finishes at a clip with a pronounced cherry pip, dry tannin firmness – clean and grippy. One smart Tempranillo that works the tastebuds, hence, the call for a food partner. Maybe something Spanish-inspired?
