Sourced from two sites in the Alpine Valleys. 70% oak fermentation and lees stirred for 3 months. Pear nectar, glace pineapple and loquat fruit. Candied lemon peel and freesia blooms. There is a thread of cool and detailed acidity and a prickle of lemon pith throughout. Distinctive for its mealy texture and crunch of apple skin on the finish. Not at all your run of the mill Pinot Gris, this is made for enjoying with rustic Panzanella salads and heirloom tomatoes floating in good olive oil. A real wine of interest.
